08/19/11 - Welcome to MacReview, the Macintosh hardware/software review resource. After 16 years in existence MacReview is currently undergoing renovation. In the next few months we'll bring you the latest evolution of our award-winning resource, whose own long history traces the rise to prominence of all things Mac. MacReview gives you all the information you need to make educated buying decisions including review ratings, comprehensive writeups, further reading and user opinions. Many software titles also feature MacReview’s own in-depth reviews.
Update: loyal readers will know that MacReview has been unavailable now since early in the year. We're working extremely hard behind the scenes and as of today the editorial and development team are prepared for a relaunch next month (October 2011). Our newsletter subscribers will find out all the details periodically. Stay tuned!

The alphabetical index lists reviews alphabetically by software title. If you know the title of the software you are interested in, this is a quick way to locate it. The Alphabetical index link is located at the top of the page under the MacReview name.
Category
The category index list reviews according to what category they fall under. There are four main categories: Creative, Productive, Educational, and Entertaining. Each main category is divided into several sub categories. This is a good way to compare similar software packages. The Category index link is located at the top of the page under the MacReview name.
